Pin Mesh Mode
In this mode, if the mesh is parented to an object, the mesh is pinned and repositioned with respect to the object that owns it. If the mesh doesn’t have an owning object, it is repositioned in world coordinates.
This might be used to place a mesh into 3-D environment properly, or to add a mesh to a solved moving object so that it matches up properly. You probably shouldn’t use it on meshes after a GeoH hierarchy has been set up: such meshes should be locked.
