Solver Seeding (Solver)
This phase lets a number of adjustments be made to how the solver seeds (gets started with solving) a particular object. The phase controls are found on the Solver control panel.
Generally there are several options presented for each parameter: to leave the value unchanged at its value from the input pipeline; to set it to some value found either in the dropdown selector itself or on the solver seeding phase's panel; or to restore the parameter to the value found on that control in the main SynthEyes scene.
Parameters that may be set include the normal vs Slow/Sure effort control; the direction hint for which direction the camera moved between the begin/end frames; whether the
begin/end frames are determined automatically or manually; what value is used if the begin/end frames are set manually; the overall weight given to the object in the solve; the number of transition frames over which a tracker is brought into the solution when it first or last becomes visible; and whether or not marginal trackers can be converted from normal to far trackers.
Note that the Slow/Sure control can be overridden by the Solve phase (to be slower and surer!). Also, the Starting/Ending frames on the Solver Seeding panel are used for seeding (starting the solve), they are not the shot frame range, seen in the main time bar, over which the shot will be solved.
