Shots With Lens Distortion
Exporting a shot is more complex when lens distortion has been computed as part of the solve; you will almost always need to run the Lens Workflow script. This is discussed in Match-moving with Lens Distortion.
There are three general approaches/cases when exporting lens distortion to a particular target application:
- Render new undistorted sequences first, within SynthEyes using Shot/Save Sequence, then use those sequences for the target application (going to work!)
- Use distortion-handling features within the specific export, which vary for each exporter,
- Use an exporter that doesn't handle the distortion features you need, but then also export an animated projection screen or image distortion maps , and modify the scene in the target application once you've imported it.
You'll need to see what approach is suitable for your project and needs.
