Synthia Commands as a Script
You can use Synthia commands as scripts so that you can use them over and over without retyping or re-saying them.
- Place the command(s) into a file with the extension “.sia”.
- Add a first line that is a comment (ie starts with “//”), followed by what you ’d like the name of the script to be in the SynthEyes menus.
- Put the file into your Script/User script folder (or a sub-folder of it)
- Do a “File/Find new scripts” in SynthEyes (if it is already running)
- Look for your script on the Script menu, or the sub-menu matching the sub-folder it is in.
For occasional use, you can simply put the Synthia commands in a file, then use Script/Run script to start up that file.
For especially frequent use, you can put the script onto a scriptbar using Script/Script bar manager.
